We are sad to announce that we are liquidating our business. Due to physical and economic reasons we are selling our entire flock of laying hens.

Those of you who have ordered a turkey  with us we will be returning your deposit this week 10/27

We have 1200+ young laying hens. These hens were hatched in February 2008
and began laying in July of this year. One thousand of them were purchased from Meyer hatchery in Polk Ohio as started pullets. This batch is a mix of their golden buffs (red sex link) and their black sex link. We have 6-700 of the red sex links and 3-400 of the black sex link.

The second batch of roughly 200 were raised by us . They are from Townline Hatchery and are Hubbard Isa Browns (red sex link).

We are asking $3 a piece for the hens. Only $2.50 in quantities greater than 100

We also have around 30 hens that were hatched in October 2007 and
roughly 100 older hens of mixed ages that are available.

Any offers for the entire package will be considered. All numbers of hens are approximate as they are not caged.

Update: 11/7/08  We currently estimate around 900 hens left. We expect several hundred hens to be picked up this weekend. It looks like the Isa browns will be gone after this weekend.
