Welcome to Topsy Turvy Acres Pastured Poultry
The new ladies arrived June 27th and 28th, direct from an Amish farm. We are happy to announce the new girls are doing great. They began laying eggs on June 28th, not very many but they are starting already! Update! The new girls peaked at 84 eggs on Tuesday. Its a long way from the 800 we are expecting them to lay but the eggs are gaining a little in size also. We are keeping our fingers crossed and praising them for the good job they are doing. They broke a hundred on Friday!(7-18) Going up faster now. Shot past 200 on Monday !(7-21) There are also 300 young ladies we are waiting on to begin to begin laying, watching for that first egg from them everyday. We are hoping to be able to announce very soon that we will be back to the Royal Oak Farmers Market with fresh eggs and chicken! We will email those of you who have provided us with your email address and will update this page as the situation warrants. Check back soon for good news! We apologize to our customers at the Howell Market we have been selling out on Saturday at Oakland so we have an additional day to work on getting the new girls settled in. Everyone should be where they belong by the end of this week and we will return Sunday July 27th to the Howell Market Sorry for the inconvenience.
Chicken and eggs the way they used to be. Raised on grass in real sunshine and fresh country air! We feed them healthy grains. No antibiotics or medications!
We are constantly working to improve our products and are working to improve our website also. Check back soon for more improvements and much more information and pictures. As our days are full as we are in the middle of our season we will be making changes as we can perhaps only a sentence one day maybe a new page the next, either way check back often! |
